We read every email. We respond within 3 business days for editorial matters, and within 24 hours for urgent safety corrections.
1. Editorial corrections and safety issues
If you found a factual error in one of our guides, or if you believe a guide may be dangerous to a reader's pet, please email us with:
- The article URL
- The specific paragraph you are concerned about
- The source for the correct information (PubMed DOI, AVMA guideline, board-certification reference, etc.)
Email: editorial@mypetwiki.com
2. Expert applications
If you are a DVM, DACVD, MSc in a relevant field, or a credentialed behaviorist with at least 8 years of practice, we would like to hear from you. Send us:
- Your CV
- Two writing samples (any length, on pet care topics)
- Three topics you would like to cover
Email: experts@mypetwiki.com
We are currently adding specialists in feline oncology, equine first aid, and avian surgery.
3. Partnerships and press
For partnership inquiries (vet clinics, pet brands, shelters, universities), email partnerships@mypetwiki.com with a one-paragraph description of your organization and what you have in mind. We do not accept paid editorial placements.
4. Accessibility issues
If a guide is not accessible to you (screen-reader issue, color contrast, missing alt text, etc.), email access@mypetwiki.com with the article URL and the assistive technology you are using. We aim to fix accessibility issues within 5 business days.
5. Privacy and data requests

8. A note on pet emergencies
If your pet is in distress right now, do not email us. Call your local emergency vet or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (US: 1-888-426-4435) immediately. We are not a substitute for hands-on veterinary care. Our emergency guides can wait an hour; your pet cannot.
